I’m looking for a court case involving a man named Sebastian Voucher, a laptop computer and the TSA.?
The man was stopped by TSA going through security and asked to turn on his laptop. He did and gave them his password, telling TSA that sensitive info was on the computer. The laptop was taken and he was arrested. He won’t give authorities the password again and it’s my understanding that the court has determined that even with a subpoena he doesn’t have to reveal the password. He can’t be prosecuted without the info on his laptop and the FBI has said that with the type of software he has, it would take them years to crack the password. I’ve looked at Lexis and can’t find the court case. Any law students/paralegals out there that can help me find the case citation?
